Hello all, I am a network engineer with 17 years experience. CCIE R&S 9720 but bored of device syntax and dull configuration of switchports, etc. I have been playing with Perl now for a few months and so far I love it. I am not very experienced yet. Looking forward to learn from you all. Thank you in advance for helping me out. Cheers - Georg

[Corion]: r@j: Have you printed what '$Process_java' prints? How will Perl know that you mean a variable named $Process and not a variable named $Process_java? Also, why doesn't Perl complain when you're using strict in your program?

[r@j]: Actully $Process_Java this is getting from config file
