Weirdly enough, the meta-calendar doesn't seem to pick up the Perl6 Advent Calendar, even though it existed last year under the same URL already.

When you say "doesn't pick up", in what way do you mean?

I meant that it didn't show the Perl6 Advent Calendar. But it shows the Perl6 Advent Calendar, so I was mistaken.

:-) sometimes it shows a link as unreachable, since it generates it's html starting at 00:01 (Eastern US TZ), and a couple of the claendars don't post until a couple of hours later. So I run my generator at 0,3,6,9 and all of them eventually get picked up unless there are non-transient problems.
