I don't get to do it much, but every once in a while I get to visit Alaska and enjoy the midnight Sun. (Who am I kidding? I would be there this minute if it weren't for films to make, PM to visit, baseball to watch, and fires to build. Hey, I've just listed my hobbies.)

...I heard this at a conference recently. They were talking about me!

Vincent Lowe is the Education Manager at xMatters Corporation. He creates and delivers curriculum for xMatters customers and internal audiences. He is the author of "Perl Programmer's Interactive Workbook" from Prentice Hall as well as numerous course guides that are used at technology companies. He is also a Toastmaster, a filmmaker, and an avid science fiction fan.

When he's not in the classroom, hacking in Perl, or attending to his other duties for xMatters, Vincent is often found around the Ballpark at Willie Mays Plaza which he considers an annex to his office. Vincent's dog Apollo (and other members of his family) appreciate the fact that Vincent enjoys many outdoor activities including street frisbee and fetch. (The dogs fetch, Vincent throws).

[virtualsue]: I have a quiet Perl themed slack workspace
[virtualsue]: The person who talks to me on it the most *hates* Perl but she hates everything
[virtualsue]: If anyone is interested, ping me an email address for an invitation.
[virtualsue]: I welcome any talktaive people who do not mind using a propietary walled-garden service for free
