The backgrounds for answers in the Q&A sections and in every voting booth appear white with light gray text in the Dark Theme. This text most likely requires a secret decoder ring (ie. SelectAll) in order for a nocturnal monk to partake of the sweet innards. Please place this issue at the bottom of the PM todo list vroom. Thanks very much. TTFN.

Yeah, the background/light text issue can be distracting. I like the dark theme too much, so I just deal with it. If you really need to see what something says, just click and drag over the text. Works every time. . .

I think what we really need is a Perl Monks Theme Design Quest.

I think vroom would really need to restructure the HTML here in order to facilitate that, starting with at least some basic stylesheets.

httptech: The Themes Design Quest ended around the middle of June. Don't know what the results are yet, but I'm looking forward to them.

      Cheers!

There was one a few weeks ago, but it wasn't around very long. It would probably be easier for users to submit theme ideas if there was some writeup somewhere on how PM handles themes; i.e., specific template files, what exactly can be modified and what's static.

Hmm I totally missed that quest. I must be getting senile in my old age.

Looking at it, it doesn't look like anyone submitted any themes during that week. Or at least, they didn't post a public message about it for feedback (which I think is what vroom wanted. So, I think the quest needs more than a week to give people time to come up with some really good ideas. Or perhaps we just need a permanent area to submit themes.
