Maybe instead of having to do one every month or 2 months or so. Have it so that every time you get ready to go up a level you have to contribute something like jjhorner said "tutorial, thesis, HOWTO, or FAQ". Then after they write it the monks that have a ranking higher than them vote on it. (kind of like a poll) If the post gets good enough ratings by the higher monks then that person will gain a level. --BigJoe
