Who is going to TPC4.0?

I asked about this some time ago, but we are now much closer to the conference, so I'll ask again: anyone going to The Perl Conference 4.0 in Monterey next week? I'll be there from Sunday to Thursday, and I'd be happy to meet some other monks in person, have a beer, enter a team in the Perl Golf Apocalypse, or simply chat a little bit.

Anyone?

It probably could be presumed, but never "presume", because when you presume, you make a PRE out of SU and ME.

Yes, I'll be there. Bill too. And we (Stonehenge) are throwing a blow-out party at McGarrett's (see the web site for my scouting pictures) on Wednesday night. Free drinks (on me!), dancing, and even some surprises!

I would LOVE to go. But I can't swing the $$. Even the $300 student discount is a bit rich for me. *sigh*

I will be at TPC from Monday to Thursday, but probably won't actually show up at the conference until Wednesday (as these four days are the only summer vacation I get). If you see me around, come introduce yourself. :)

Just look out for a hatchet-wielding rat-trap-enabled perl-book-carrying apron-wearing uber-geek female. She should be easy to spot.

Unfortunately I won't be at this one.... but everyone needs to check out the kicking PerlMonks.org(I'll be there) booth at the Linux World Conference so please everyone show up and say hi.

I am going to be there Sun-Thurs. I am sooo looking forward to going. It will be a nice break.

I might be interested in the PGA tournement if we find one more perlmonk (and there is still space left).

I'll be there from Saturday to Friday.

On Tuesday evening I'm running a BOF to discuss yapc::Europe. We'll be in 'Steinbeck' (whatever that means) from 6pm to 7pm. Pop along if you have any interest in the conference.

On Wednesday I'll be hanging around the Borders stall from about 5:30pm, talking to customers about the forthcoming book.

It's good to see some people are going! merlyn, neshura, perlmonkey and davorg, I'll try to look you all up. You can also try to look me up. I have a talk on Wednesday (4:00 I think, "Building an intrusion detection system with Perl"), and you'll be able to identify me by my last name anyway :-) See you there.
