<OVERZEALOUS LITERALISM>

You know...the funny thing about the number (60 when this was written) of #perlmonks votes right now is that there are only about 7 people in the channel at a time. Not only do I not see 60 unique visitors over a long period of time, but (according to this poll), ~ 40 people should be in there during the day (subtract around 20 people who live far away from US).

I guess I should rather grant people the priveledge to escape the drudgery of work by *fantasizing* about #perlmonks...and just maybe, they can live vicariously through those of us who LIVE #perlmonks.

[shmem]: trying to build a RPM for some perl with a bunch of modules. Trying perlbrew, trying alien.
[stevieb]: finally got my 12v solar setup for my Pi/Arduino, with a 12v 7.2Ah battery. Testing how long the Pi will run on the fully charged battery before I hook it up to the solar regulator. I expect between 8 and 18 hours, depending on load.
[shmem]: ...writing a Makefile for that. Edit, test, lather, rinse, repeat.
