there is increased entropy in the second. you can loose (sic) informaion (or purposely remove it) but once it's gone it cannot be recovered without conscious application of energy (reading and organizing the anonymous articles, gluing back together humpty dumpty). A) You can't lose information you never had. B) And more importantly (pay attention here because this is the point you have completely failed to grasp) The existence of that information in a node has nothing to do with whether or not it was posted by Anonymous Monk! To prove "B" to yourself, ask yourself two questions. How could that information be missing in the absence of Anonymous Monk? And how could that information be present if all posts were by Anonymous Monk? To answer the first question, consider that one could create a new account for each and every post. To answer the second question, consider that one could PGP sign his posts if he liked. Allowing posts by Anonymous Monk is nothing more than a convenience which makes it easy for people to do things that they could do anyway. Now, if you want to complain about people who post anonymously, go ahead. Start responding to AM posts explaining your arguments. At least you'll be taking it to the people that can do something about it: the posters themselves. -sauoq "My two cents aren't worth a dime.";
