that's why using anonymous vs providing the information is the disservice and is selfish.

So, someone happens upon this site, sees a question they can answer, provides an answer anonymously, and you think they've done a disservice and were selfish?

You would require a good samaritan to jump through hoops in order to offer help?

Useless hoops which aren't able to prevent anonymous posting but which would result in waste in the database and a reduction in the total number of available names for people who want to create an account?

All because you want to be able to play connect-the-dots with anonymous posts to satisfy some desire for information which is of questionable value anyway?

Okay. Whatever. You've had your say. Now move along. And have a nice day.
