While we would like to believe that Perl is good at everything, there are some things that it does poorly or not at all. In order to avoid wasting time on writing scripts to do a task that Perl is ill suited for, what are some of the things that you wouldn't use perl for?
|1.||heavy i/o tasks or tasks that would require async i/o|
|3.||tasks that would require timely signal handling (sigalrm for example)|
|4.||closed source applications|
