I don't have a system to test this on, but what happens if you scale all the number up by a factor of 10?

perl -e 'print "CRAP\n" if ((334+333+333)/10 != 100)'
In other words, can you get around the problem by not dealing with decimals?

(so many nodes and so little time ... )
