Seems like a problem with the web host. Perhaps someone needs to pay the bill, or perhaps the site is moving somewhere new.

Update: Comments above were based on the http://www.perldoc.com URL and not the http://perldoc.com URL, which gives a great deal more info. :-)

I corrected that to perldoc.com. I'd be surprised if
it's a $$$ issue; perhaps they're moving. I've seen no
notices & no news of it on other Perl sites.
