    You are lost in a maze of twisty Roman subroutines, all alike.

    Being right, does not endow the right to be rude; politeness costs nothing.
    Being unknowing, is not the same as being stupid.
    Expressing a contrary opinion, whether to the individual or the group, is more often a sign of deeper thought than of cantankerous belligerence.
    Do not mistake your goals as the only goals; your opinion as the only opinion; your confidence as correctness. Saying you know better is not the same as explaining you know better.

    But END begins before counting in your Roman Empire. Does
    eval( @_ ) eq sub { # British Empire }
    tell the truth? I guess they count backwards at BEGIN { }. I mean, they play kricket and drive on the left ;-). Greetings to Great Britain. Sorry, but this is the other empire that came to my mind.

    I like your obfu very much, because it's very difficult to read despite that it uses only very few selected obfu techniques.

    Here's some SPOILER

    Give a gibbon enough time, and you get an obfuscated JAPH.
