It sounds like Text::Table is exactly for what I'm looking. My hosting provider does not have this module installed on the server.

Do you know how I can install it on the server?

You might try looking at A Guide to Installing Modules, written by tachyon. Specifically, the "I don't have permission to install a module on the system!" section.
