Mass Module testingby ghenry (Vicar) |

Inspired by RFC: Filesys::Type Has anyone ever thought about writing a program that connects to all the machines you own, installs a module of your choice and then tests it by running a wee bit of code, after which it reports any errors that occur? In Re: RFC: Filesys::Type, I have the small bit of code in mind that would help in testing Filesys::Type (from the modules docs), but the only thing that would need to be added, is a quick check of what the system is, to pick a situation partition. Has this distributed kind of basic testing been done before or is it completely the wrong way to go about it? Gavin.
