Not much of interest. I grew up on 6502 assembly language and C, then C++. Played around with Pascal, BASIC, and some other stuff I can't even remember now - including 80X86 assembly language (glutton for punishment).
Stumbled onto Perl mostly by accident, but really glad I did. It fits my way of programming. It also is the only language I know of that has such a great support community.
