    I know what your 'sir' means, but the .exe for Perl programs is intended to be perl.exe. This question has been asked many times, and there is a pretty good answer here.

      You still need a perl interpreter on target machines

      Not true! Please read the docs before posting wrong answers.

      I successfully use PAR to package up Perl apps to run on many Windows PCs that don't have perl installed.
