seeker has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Can anyone point me to a module(s) which supports something called the Session Initiation Protocol used in Voice Over I/P? I've done a super search here and in CPAN but came up empty.

Thanks;

    Hi, I'd be interested to hear what you find. The most I've found is that RFC on the SIP CGI, RFC 3050. If you find any unique ways of linking perl to SIP (or any VoIP protocol for that matter), I'd love to hear from you. RFC: ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/rfc3050.txt Thanks, Jason message1@email.com
