Change the subject. Or fall asleep. Or run screaming. The combination of the last two is especially amusing.

Of course people either run screaming or change the subject when I talk about anything. I feel like I should carry around a small box of random creatures with too many legs so that "run screaming" is less detrimental to my morale.
