A few years back I worked (at an ISP) during the week in one town and lived in another at weekends.
I didn't have a place to stay in the town-were-I-worked so dossed on the floor. Its amazing how into USENET + mudding you can get in these circumstances :-) I don't recommend it as a lifestyle, but as a psycological experiment its pretty interesting.
