Thank you for your reply... I had issues configuring NetPacket-0.04, therefore I had to manually add perl modules into /etc/perl/NetPacket it looks like this kelly@linux-desktop:/etc/perl/NetPacket$ ls -l total 84 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7185 2010-08-13 00:11 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 65853 2010-08-13 00:13 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6687 2010-08-13 00:14 I am on Ubuntu 2.2, please let me know, whether I ma doing this right, Many Thanks

    Ubuntu 2.2? Wasn't the first Ubuntu version 4.10?

        Thank you, I got it working...... one more thing... I am going to develop a port scanner detector for my Msc project. please can any one give me any thoughts, how to improve this script to use as a port scanner detector? Many Thanks

[marto]: lazyweb Q: so an IE window apparently opened via JS with toolbars=no, all other IE instances closed. Click a URL in an email or whatever, and it doesn't open a new window or tab.
[marto]: does JS lock down windows created via to prevent this?
