When a new version of software is released that changes the UI, i:

• upgrade immediately
• upgrade after testing it
• upgrade after community acceptance
• upgrade after the first patch
• upgrade after my next OS refresh/reinstall
• upgrade when the current release doesn't do what i want
• complain to everyone i know
• complain in an email to the developers
• complain, then upgrade, and get on with life
• fork the project
• ask someone else to fork the project
• find an alternative
