Reputation is explained in What is reputation?. A node’s reputation is simply the total number of votes it has received (++ votes minus -- votes).

    Hope that helps,

To summarize: you do your homework, look up the Tutorials, perldoc and FAQ, before you ask questions, and your reputation will grow. Otherwise...

I'm too lazy to be proud of being impatient.
Except if you do none of what you listed but keep posting here, your reputation will also grow....

Elda Taluta; Sarks Sark; Ark Arks
      My deviantART gallery

I'm not sure that's entirely true. If you keep posting here, but never "do your homework", i.e. never attempt to get smart(er), then your posts will suck, and they will get downvoted, and you will lose XP.

(Note: Posts have reputation, users have XP.)

I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.
