( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I am sorry, but I don't really understand you. You set an ultimatum, a faux pas in any forum that I know of, and I know some.

Someone calls you on that, in a civil tone and you go up the wall? You want to keep people from this forum for that? Your "hurt" pride is obviously more important than the reason for this forum, the exchange of ideas to improve perl in all its aspects. (This might not be the official reason, but it is what I have learned from this forum)

I am sorry, but that is simply childish... I don't know, what my score is, I guess it is 0 or so, as I usually only read and learn, but I really don't think a measly -1 is that big a deal... You need to learn Proportionality(? sorry, this is not my mother tongue). If you fly off the handle for such trivialities, you just alienate the people you ask for help.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
