Hmm, I think they should drop it esp since they're not really supporting CGI.pm all that much :) look at the bug cue, esp the patches One clever guy pointed out fatpacker -- well it don't work on win32 smart guy http://www.cavapackager.com/, http://www.citrusperl.com/helpweb/createdistribution.htm, ...Installing modules without root and shell / http://cgipan.sf.net/ All the arguments about CORE-ness and expectancy are weak nostalgia -- core changes , so change it well as is all the whining how lame CGI.pm -- perl core is full of far uglier code -- leave CGI.pm alone -- sit on your torches/pitchforks, there are plenty of other reasons to eject CGI.pm, that are more factual and less hypocritical CGI::Emulate::PSGI for all your CGI.pm needs :) In reply to Re: Remove CGI.pm from Perl Core (why wait)?
