My favorite was the Original Star Wars, before it was retitled Star Wars IV: A New Hope during the 1979 re-release.

Yes, the addition of those 5 words made all the difference.

I have to say that I really hadn't thought that it would be possible for Lucas to produce a worse film than TPM (especially since it had boba fett in it), but he proved me wrong.
