( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

Hello, [id://somashekar], and welcome to Perl Monks. This isn't a mailing list. It's a Website where you can post questions that will be answered here on the Website. In general, you will need to come back here to find answers to the questions you ask. One reason for doing it this way is so that others can benefit from the answer. Also, if an answer is incomplete or inaccurate, other Perl Monks can add their opinions and corrections.

Because the questions and answers are preserved, it is possible for someone to do a search for their topic, and see whether the question has already been asked and answered. This is what Search and [id://Super Search] are for. Doing a search before asking a question will help avoid annoying people for asking a question that has been asked and answered dozens of times before.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
