Given your (mostly :)) lucid posts, you have missed the clear syllogistic conclusion: Albert Einstein clearly explained time, via special relativity. As Benjamin Franklin said "Time is Money" 1 Tim 6:10 clearly states that "The love of money is the root of all evil"(actually, the greek can actually be read "...the root of all sorts of evil") Therefore, "Einstein is the root of all evil" QED (you can get him off the hook a little bit by using the latter tranlation of 1 Tim 6:10) Your apparent lapse in logical capability can easily be attributed to the facts that You are certainly an example of the population the poll describes You have actually read too many of the "How can I do <blah<blah> with an RE? fnord	[reply]

The reason to spend time here specifically is because Perl helps me to earn money. Perlmonks enhances the depth of view of the concepts I have learnt in Perl I am experiencing the term 'there is more than a way to do it' in the posts of perlmonks Perlmonks.org helps me to stay in touch with authors of best perl books and other intelligent monks, if I visit/contribute/share something here it extends the life of my Perl knowledge Vivek -- In accordance with the prarabdha of each, the One whose function it is to ordain makes each to act. I voted "...and I'm an addict", and I am. I've always liked playing with code, to look into little logic and math problems that catch my fancy. Perl was very easy to get into, and has been extended in so many directions, I've hardly lacked for a solution just waiting for me to find it. Then of course, I started using it in `my $work;` and soon it became critical. I've been waiting 3 years at `my $position=q/current/;` for `our $Software_Group;` to automate some database stuffing/munging, and they just keep refactoring everything after delivering the same functionality again. I've lost track of how many languages they've used. Every new summer intern brings along some new language and starts coding in it. Whe s/he leaves, as soon as it needs updating, it's trashed. (Students have so little respect for their peers' coding skills, but sometimes such disrespect is earned.) So I get stuff done, other folks borrow some of my tools and get a lot done, still others wonder how it's done, and anyone left over doesn't even know what's going with their data, because they never see it. Funny thing is, `our @Group_Goals; push @Group_Goals, qq/No Scripting!/; sleep 3; say qq/WTF?!/;` [download] Now `push @Company_Wide_Software_Organization, $Software_Group;` so their responsiveness has declined, while their paperwork and meeting overhead has increased.
