First used Perl back in 1995 for about a year. I enjoyed working with it, but headed off in a different career direction. I started with Perl again just recently for a series of projects that involve text processing.
My current user image is my Dad in Berlin, 1945, some time after his division came in. Given that there are a number of Monks in Germany, I'd be interested to know if anyone recognizes where this picture was taken, and if the pillars are still there. It would be even better to get a current image of the place from that angle or other vantage points. I'm sure it would bring back memories for my Dad.
