in reply to opensuse 12,3 i had a bad Make-Test while running installation of a perl module: www mechanize firefox

Have you read the error message?

Can't locate MozRepl/RemoteObject.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /home/mar +tin/Downloads/perl/WWW-Mechanize-Firefox-0.74/blib/lib /home/martin/D +ownloads/perl/WWW-Mechanize-Firefox-0.74/blib/arch /usr/lib/perl5/sit +e_perl/5.16.2/i586-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.16.2 + /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.16.2/i586-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/p +erl5/vendor_perl/5.16.2 /usr/lib/perl5/5.16.2/i586-linux-thread-multi + /usr/lib/perl5/5.16.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.16.2/i586-linux-thr +ead-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.16.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) + at /home/martin/Downloads/perl/WWW-Mechanize-Firefox-0.74/blib/lib/F +irefox/Application.pm line 4.

Maybe perl is correct about you not having installed MozRepl::RemoteObject? Maybe try the cpan tool, which will automatically try to pull in the prerequisites too?

Maybe you might want to consider a different approach to setting up your machine for you, as you've spent quite some time already without moving foward with this issue.
