Dear monks, I am looking for some framework or solution for ecommerce. I found Interchange is useful(document) but cannot even on my windows machine. Is there anyone can give me instruction to install ? Or any other recommendation ? Thanks for your help.

    Hi donno20,
Go to the Interchange Development Home Page for a start. Doing a very quick search I found this link which is a good start.

I'd highly recommend persisting with this software, I've used it since '95 (though only under *nix) and has gone from strength to strength. Another good idea would be to get on their Mail List/s.

    Good luck.

Don't you wish there were a book on this subject? I have brought this up many times here, but I haven't proposed anything to Oreilly. My first suggestion to you would be to look at Amazon.com, which runs on Mason, a Perl-based content delivery engine. I remember hearing that Amazon sells their Web technology to others (a la Google) so you can use their stuff. Of course, you could just install mason, mysql, and a few other things, like bricolage, and you are good to go.
