Why control? Because I used to use keyboards where the CapsLock key was below the shift key. Quite useful for me in those days to have the above mapping - on a standard PC keyboard, I seldomly use the CapsLock key - but if I hit it by accident, it won't cause SHOUTING.xmodmap -e 'add Control = Caps_Lock'
