I'm a big fan of FANN (ha). Although, I usually write the NN parts of my code in C and just call them from my scripts.

Has anyone used any of the various other Perl Neural Networks? Quite a few up on CPAN. Wonder how they compare.

I have gotten AI::FANN (2.1) to work and am playing around with the AI::NNFlex sample code. NNEasy sounded promising, but I couldn't get it to install. I'm no perl expert and its not my day job, so it takes me a while to get stuff to work. I have successfully applied Genetic Algotithm to real problems in telecoms and triggered my fascination with this AI approach.	[reply]
