There are rules, which dictate proteins to take a place according to a special order and as a result the branch of a proteins called as DNA will be formed. Maybe, these rules are written with a special codes. So, if we find the way of writing these codes in a right way, we can dictate to many types of matter -that have an elemental form- to be shaped as needed.

Matter can be transformed into energy, it is a fact. Similarly, maybe, codes itself can transform into matter. The issue is just in 'sufficiency' of codes. So, Enough codes make shapes. (Hamidjon)

Curiously, the construction of proteins is driven by the conversion of matter into energy at the center of the Sun. And then proteins evolve to become humans, who write code, the execution of which on computers ejects energy, albeit at lower density and higher entropy. So I think it is more likely that the process runs in the opposite direction to the one you describe.
