in thread What's with all of the unnecessary downvoting?
I didn't realise other people had the same thought... I know in my few efforts to gain a few XP I've had to be really fast to post otherwise one of the big guns tends to rip off a quick answer. This worked against me double because I would often have to check my answer to be really sure, while other monks know these things off by heart. While I shudder at the thought of telling anyone here what to do, maybe if a question was posted that "everyone knows the answer to", let one of the younger monks take it on. That way they get experience, confidence and a sense of community.
Before anyone says "ahaaa, you're the evil one", I've only ever voted down factually incorrect nodes.
