Your "good" & "bad" situations are reverse for me. Please offer that as your personal preference but not as some kind of truth.

      So, why does it need prefacing? Is it not obvious DrHyde is speaking?

      And I disagree, it wasn't written as if everybody prefers that sentiment

      Besides, the statement is obvious true, just like :
      Keeping related things nearby is Good, separating related things is Bad
      Keeping pennies in a jar is Good, separating pennies in toilets is Bad
      Keeping condoms in refrigerator is Good, separating condoms in bathroom is Bad.
        Keeping related things nearby is Good, separating related things is Bad
        So, inlining is Good, factoring out to a module is Bad? It's that kind of obvious you mean, isn't it?
