Pronto is an excellent mail client. There is a another version being written in C, but the main Pronto is written in GTK Perl. I've used the tutorial immensely, but when it comes to undocumented commands - it gets tough, especially CTREE and how to make it appear like a folder list, with dropdown squares [+] to expand a dir.

I really like Glade, but found it hard to jump right into, trying to figure out how to access the names of controls and other items. I found writing my own code, was a lot easier because I'm not that experienced at perl object code. (been advancing and things are starting to click in Perl.. making me love programming again, and find a new language I can use on Linux - I programmed VB and other Basics for over 12 years, so I got spoiled, and ticked how I wasted my time, oh well... I'm glad I found Perl :)
