At first I didn't think I was cool enough for this node, but I'll post anyway. I was tired of some of the nicknames that I had come up with in the past (too ashamed to tell), so I had to think of something for my entrance to Perlmonks. Well, I'm mexican, chicano really, and a [ironically] Puerto Rican friend in High School called me mex. Contract that with my operating system of choice, Unix or most *nix OS's, and you have mexnix. Suprisingly on AIM, mexnix was taken so there I'm mexnux.

<shameless_plug type="homepage">[http://mexnix.perlmonk.org] also has the explanation</shameless_plug>
