Including Links in Chatterbox Messages

See "[id://43037]", which explains how to formulate various kinds of shortcuts
you can use for linking to things. These shortcuts work in chatterbox messages
as well as in nodes.

Also see "[id://17544]" for additional info on how HTML is handled in general by the chatterbox.

<!-- 2004-01-22 [jdporter] The following may still be true, but why bother?

In [id://17534|private messaging], you have an additional means of linking that is available only here; it is not supported in regular posts or in the public chatterbox.
You can link to a node by its node ID number, using the syntax
[node_id=NNN]
.
For example, if you send
/msg vroom [node_id=131]
, [vroom] will receive
a message with [The Monastery Gates] in his message inbox.
