&lt;p&gt;
When installing modules from other places, such as with CPAN.pm, but you are using the HTML docs from ActiveState, issue this command:
&lt;code&gt;
&gt; perl -MActivePerl::DocTools -e ActivePerl::DocTools::UpdateHTML();
&lt;/code&gt;
This will make HTML docs and update the menu to reflect your newly installed module(s). Dunno if this is the most effective one could come up with, but it works. :)
