Hello all,

I am thinking of building a small e-commerce, content management system for a small business I am involved with. I was not planning on anything fancy - just a sort of online catalogue.

Essentially I envision a MySQL database of the products for sale. The web site is then just a simple interface to the database, allowing you to browse the items a few at a time, in categories or according to search criteria. Once you find an item, clicking brings up a big picture and the details, with a PayPal button to buy.

It occurs to me someone must have done this before. One of the gazillion free content management systems must be specially designed for this kind of online catalogue. I can't for the life of me find it.

Could I draw on the communal wisdom here to point me to the right product?

Thanks.

PS. I know it is not specifically a Perl question, but Perl was where I started when I was going to do it myself!
</field>
