I assumed this was a joke at first, because HTML flattens any amount of whitespace into a single space, so there's no way to tell whether someone double-spaces. (I still do; after 30 years it seems like a hard habit to break, although it is annoying when some web-based editors try to "help" by turning the second space into a non-breakable-space HTML entity.) Then I noticed that the OP does have really long spaces between sentences, so I checked the source, and he's actually putting a non-breakable-space in between two regular spaces, resulting in a (more-or-less) <em>triple</em>-space! Carry on.
