Fellow Monks, this is my 100th post. Not much, but an excuse to look back.

This February I decided to delve a little deeper into Perl. I was not a complete newbie, but not much of an expert either, I could mess around with text processing, but that was all.

After I decided to learn more, the first few searches led me here to the Monastery, I happily joined up and I'm enjoying my time here ever since.

I learned a lot, not just about Perl, but about programming in general. I thank you all for being kind, sharing your knowledge and guiding the needy.

After 9 months, I am not a complete newbie, not much of an expert neither. But Perl has become my hobby, and I began to teach newbies at our firm. Still a long way stretches before me, but I've got the skill, I've got the will and I've got countless Monks by my side.

Thank you! Danke! Dziękuję! Děkuji! Merci! Grazie! Gracias! Obrigado! Tack! Takk! Köszönöm!
