Perl News is slowly withering away. The semi-official reason is that use.perl.org does a far better job that said section tries to address.

Get yourself an account on use.perl, and then configure your account so that it sends you e-mail on the things that interest you. I guess a really nice hack would be to convince pudge to hack something up so that the reminders arrived as chatterbox messages :)

Has anyone checked about a news feed from use.perl.org? A quick little hack could set it up to at least display the headlines (with links to the full story) in the news section here.
