perl.j has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Are there any websites or books that have excersises for perl? I have used Perl Cookbook but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm looking for something that gives you an idea of a problem and you have to solve it. If there is nothing of the sort that exists is there a way we could get this page on PerlMonks (That last sentence was for the Monks). Thanks in advance!

Perl Quiz of the Week (two every week, regular and expert)
Ruby Quiz (the solutions and discussions are Ruby, but that doesn't stop you attempting Perl solutions)
