I started out as a chemist, finishing grad school in '93 and working in industry until end of '95. Moved to system engineering in '96, and started using Perl in '97. I mostly use it to get the job done. :)
I do play tuba, although haven't been in a band for a while. I also play clarinet, and I'm learning bass guitar.
