in thread TMPL_VAR with selection box

my display is like this(more or less like table display

file1 pulldown_selection#1 file2 pulldown_selection#2 file3 pulldown_selection#3 ..... so when I select the pulldown#1, I selected 1 sec .... the pulldown#2, I selected 10 sec .... the pulldown#3, I selected 1 sec

There is a submit button at the end, in my cgi script, I need to find out what selections I made, which should be

file1 1 file2 10 file3 1 but I got is file1 1 file1 10 file1 1

filename "file#" not change at all

filename "file#" not change at all

In the template you posted there is nothing included that changes the name of the form element, it is hardcoded to "files234p"

    it will always be files234p"

The name attribute of your select tag is hardcoded to files234p

so how do I not hard coded the name "files234p" in the template ?
Like, make it a variable , like TMPL_VAR or something

[Corion]: Hurr. Yesterday I played around with ffmpeg as a new toy and found its "scene" filter great - it detects scene changes. Now I could write a module that splits a given video on its cuts into different scenes. Except I have no use case for that :)
[Corion]: (and also, writing yet another FFmpeg module just to wrap system() and grep through its output isn't all that great ...)
[erix]: cut out advertisements from movies? :)
[erix]: robably not possible (or it would have been done already)
[Corion]: erix: Oooh - yeah, that would be a good application of this, true (except that I don't consume movies-with- separate- advertisements that much nowadays :) )
[erix]: yes, it's old annoyance :)
[Corion]: erix: I think it's basically quite possible through a variety of means - change in audio level (advertisements are usually louder), common "advertisement starting" blocks, fade in/out of TV logo
