I seek Perl Monk wisdom.

Are there any Sound Recording modules that work with Windows 7? 

I've looked into:
Win32::SoundRec;   (Fails when making)
Audio::DSP;         (Failes when making)

I need something to record via Microphone to the computer... any suggestions?
