Now if we ported Perl to the mindstorms, maybe tacking on a few i960 coprocessors, that'd be something...Probably not exactly what you were thinking of, but there's already a bit of firmware that you can download to the Mindstorms chip and some software that allows you to write Mindstorms programs in C. There's also LEGO::RCX...
