That's right Lotus1.

But anyway, i'll give it a short try tomorrow @work with my old Sennheiser MKE 66 (no XLR, no phantom powering, no preamp but a good old horse...) on my XP Box.

I installed Win32::SoundRec successfully on my XP box but unfortunately i didn't have that mic at hand.

    The install failed for me due to a missing dependancy. It said 'The module Win32::API::Prototype isn't available on CPAN.'
